With the Presidential Election just around the corner, there’s no better time to help kids understand the power of their voice in our democracy! Children’s Museum Houston invites you to join us for an exciting day of interactive election-themed activities. Let your little citizens dive into the world of voting, civic engagement, and campaign creativity, all while having fun in our Kidtropolis, USA and more!

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Vote Like a Pro!: Step right into the heart of democracy at Kidtropolis City Hall and cast your vote like a real pro!  Get ready to feel empowered and leave inspired to be a future voter.

When:  From 10a.m. to 4 p.m. in Kidtropolis City Hall.

"I Voted" Story Time:  Gather ‘round for a heartwarming story time that shows just how important your vote is. Then, get crafty with an “I Voted” activity where you can wear your badge of honor.

When:  At 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. in the Parent Resource Library.

Design a Campaign Poster:  Think you’ve got what it takes to run for office? Here’s your chance! Show off your big ideas and let your personality shine. What will your platform be?

When:   All day in Kidtropolis News and Alexander Art Academy.

Election Day Puppet Show:  Watch as civic engagement comes to life in an interactive, laugh-out-loud performance. Leave with an understanding of democracy and how the voting process works.

When:  At 10a.m. and noon in the Parent Resource Library.
