Get ready, Houston! Children's Museum Houston is thrilled to welcome back Gabby's Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days for a second year! Join us for a fairy-tastic day featuring a special Meet & Greet with Gabby, hands-on activities, and plenty of imaginative play inspired by Fairylandia!

Gabby Meet & Greet – Advance Sign-up Required

Meet Gabby, the beloved costumed character from Gabby’s Dollhouse, at an exclusive Meet & Greet on October 23-25. You must register for a timed ticket to attend one of the Gabby Meet & Greet sessions. Some meet-and-greet tickets will be available on the day of the event for those purchasing discounted museum admission.

• Your timed Gabby Meet & Greet ticket is FREE with Museum admission and includes full admission for the same day (9:00am-5:00pm).

• Each person (adults and children) entering the Meet and Greet area must have a valid admission/timed ticket, including Museum members.

• Adults must accompany children at all times.

Gabby Meet & Greet: Meet and snap a photo with Gabby, the beloved costumed character from Gabby’s Dollhouse. Be sure to bring your own camera!

The MEOWseum Discovery Days Meet & Greet has limited capacity. Advanced registration is highly advised. While standby options may be available on the day of the Meet & Greet, it is not guaranteed that guests without a reservation will be able to meet Gabby.

Cat Stuffies featuring Pandy Paws and Fairy Hamster Kitty: Design your own cozy cat stuffy! Choose from these two adorable cats inspired by the cuddly and colorful friends from Gabby's Dollhouse! Limited to 15 participants at a time. Recommended ages 3+.

Gabby Toddler Storytimes: Little ones can wiggle, sing and play along during this toddler-friendly storytime featuring plenty of opportunities for little learners to join the fun.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is Gabby coming to Children’s Museum Houston?

Gabby will be at Children’s Museum Houston from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25, 2026. In addition to Meet & Greet opportunities, we’ll have lots of Gabby’s Dollhouse-inspired activities happening throughout the Museum all weekend long.

Do I need a reservation to meet Gabby?

Yes! A reservation is required to meet Gabby. To secure your Meet & Greet, select an available time slot when purchasing your tickets. Everyone in your party who wants to attend the Meet & Greet must have their own reservation. Due to limited time and high interest, guests without a reservation may not be able to meet Gabby.

Will I meet the actor who plays Gabby on the show?

No. The Meet & Greet is with Gabby the costumed character. Laila Lockhart Kraner, the actress who plays Gabby on the show, will not be at Children’s Museum Houston.

Do I need a separate admission ticket to the Museum?

No. Meet & Greet tickets include Museum admission.  

What time should I arrive for the Meet & Greet?

We recommend arriving at least one hour before your scheduled Meet & Greet time. We expect extra visitors at the Museum this weekend, so parking and entering the Museum may take additional time. Please arrive at the Meet & Greet waiting area at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. If you arrive late for your registered time slot, we cannot guarantee availability for another time.

I couldn’t get a Meet & Greet reservation. Can I still meet Gabby?

Due to limited time and high interest, advance registration is the only way to guarantee a Meet & Greet with Gabby. A limited number of walk-up or standby opportunities may be available if space allows, but we cannot guarantee that guests without a reservation will be able to meet Gabby.

Can I come to the Museum without a Meet & Greet reservation?

Yes! You can still enjoy the Museum and all of our Gabby’s Dollhouse-inspired activities throughout the weekend. Special activities will include crafts, storytimes, dance parties, a scavenger hunt, and more. These activities are included with Museum admission or membership.

Do I need a ticket to participate in the Gabby’s Dollhouse activities?

No separate reservation is required for the general Gabby’s Dollhouse activities. Some activities may have limited capacity or specific participation requirements, so please check the event schedule for details.

Can I use a gift card, coupon, reciprocal admission, or other discount to purchase a ticket?
Some discounts can be used online with a promo code, while others require an in-person purchase at the Welcome Center.

For those discounts we are not able to process online, we will have a limited number of Meet & Greet tickets available at the Welcome Center. Please note these are limited and we cannot guarantee availability for a Meet & Greet with Gabby.  

Will the Museum be more crowded than usual?

We expect Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days to be a popular event, so the Museum may be busier than usual. We recommend planning ahead and arriving early, especially if you have a scheduled Meet & Greet reservation.

If we can’t attend our Meet & Greet time slot, can I get a refund?

All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
