Children’s Museum Houston unveils a new exhibit exploring culture, community, and connection

Join us as we unveil Faithful Friends, a brand-new exhibit at Children’s Museum Houston designed to spark curiosity and celebrate the diverse traditions that bring people together. Through hands-on activities and engaging performances, families will explore the ways different cultures express faith, friendship, and community.  Be among the first to experience this exciting new addition to the Museum, featuring a high-energy lineup of performances, a confetti-filled ribbon-cutting ceremony, and interactive activities that invite visitors to create, connect, and celebrate!

• A joyful welcome from Faithful Friends Houston Kids.
• Confetti and friendship bracelets to mark the occasion!

Live Performances beginning at 3 p.m.

• ‍Houston Bhangra Academy kicks off the celebration with a vibrant Punjabi dance performance.‍
• Indian Music Society of Houston shares the beauty of Indian classical music.‍
• Ministry in Motion closes out the day with an inspiring Christian dance performance.

Hands-On Cultural Activities: (All Day!)

• ‍Your Experiences and Beliefs Color Your Perspective: A collaborative art project that highlights the beauty of diversity.‍
• Bee Hotels: Celebrate the Jain holiday of Mahavir Jayanti by creating a haven for pollinators.‍
• Khanda Mosaics:  Honor the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi with a colorful take-home craft.
