Join us at Children’s Museum Houston for “Fun Summer Vibes” and to receive a free, brand-new bike helmet. To protect children from head injuries and encourage fitness, Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) Pediatric Student Association and Texas Medical Association’s (TMA’s) Hard Hats for Little Heads program will give 50-bicycle helmets for free to the first 50-children to arrive with admission reservation. Child must be present to receive helmet and helmets are limited to up to three children per family.
Physicians want Texas children to be active and safe. Wearing a properly fitted bicycle helmet is an easy way to prevent injury. Head injury is the most common cause of death and serious disability from bike crashes. Physicians encourage children to wear the correct helmet for every wheeled sport, including biking, skateboarding, inline skating, and when riding a scooter. Come on out and learn how to make sure your kids’ helmet fits properly.
Free Family Night is fully booked for June 17.
