HOUSTON (Dec. 27, 2024) — Skip the late-night yawns! Say “SEE YA, 2024!” and a big “HELLO” to a brand-new year at Children’s Museum Houston’s New Year’s Noon Bash! Why wait until midnight when you can drop the ball on boredom and kick off 2025 with a bang? Designed for families with little ones who “can’t eve…ning,” this dazzling event delivers all the fun of New Year’s Eve without missing bedtime. Join us for the ultimate early-to-bed, early-to-rise celebration with a spectacular noon ball drop, awe-inspiring performances, giveaways, and more.  We’ll also OPEN on Jan. 1!

SPECIAL EVENT:

Noon Ball Drop Extravaganza:  Why wait for midnight? Countdown to noon with not one but TWO grand ball drops—it’s a drop-the-mic moment!

When: At noon in Allen Family Courtyard and Brown Auditorium.  Plan to arrive early!

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP:

Juggler “Mr. Cirque” Noah: He’ll juggle your expectations and blow your mind as he roams the Museum then performs a spectacular show!

When:  From 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. in and around the Museum and at Allen Family Courtyard.

Magic by Jamie Salinas: Abraca-‘DAB’ your way to wonder with a magical show.

When:  At 11 a.m. in Brown Auditorium.

Mad About Hoops: These hoops will have you in a spin! Watch mesmerizing tricks.

When:  At 11 a.m. in Allen Family Courtyard.

DJ Ferbidden: Hit the early bird dancefloor.

When:  From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Allen Family Courtyard.

DJ Tyler: Turn up the tunes and keep those feet moving!

When:  From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Brown Auditorium.

FESTIVE ACTIVITIES:

New Year’s Noon Dance Party: Keep the party going with music and moves post-ball drop!

When:  Noon to 12:30 p.m. in Allen Family Courtyard; noon to 1 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
