Get ready to build, kids! Have you always wanted to invent something? Maybe you have an idea for a new toy that only you can create? Well at the MAKER CREW ideaMAKE Series, you can do just that! Your only limit is your imagination. During these fun-filled workshops, kids will have access to:
In the past, MakerKids have made engraved maps, vending machines, enclosures for hedgehogs, remote control cars, marble mazes, Minecraft lamps, and robots, worked with leather, created Inifinity Guantlets, papermache masks and more! Throughout this special series, Maker Crew will embark on a maker project of their very own devising, learning how to generate ideas, research, develop, plan, design, prototype, troubleshoot, and finally fabricate a finished project.
All child participants MUST be 8 years or older and be accompanied by an adult for the entire workshop. We apologize, but younger siblings are not allowed in the workshop space.
These workshops occur on three consecutive days, for 2 hours each day. Select one of the following sessions:
Tuesday, July 7 - Thursday, July 9 (9:30am-11:30 am)
Tuesday, July 14 - Thursday, July 16 (9:30am-11:30 am)
Tuesday, July 21 - Thursday, July 23 (9:30am-11:30 am)
Cost per 3-day session is $45/child. Non-members will need to pay museum admission for the day if they would like to explore the museum after the workshop.
